A new frontier: Twitter Spaces with Elon Musk
It’s not every day you get to work with the smartest people on the planet – unless of course, you happen to work with XPRIZE Foundation. Having headed up the recent Twitter announcement that Elon Musk would be joining them to launch the largest incentive prize in history, reaching a global audience of over 68 million people, we were approached to kick it up a gear for a launch as epic as the man himself.
‘Voice-based social media’ or ‘Social Audio’ have been with us now nearly two years with ClubHouse leading the way. First for individuals and interest groups and more recently for brands looking to leverage the space to reach an audience.
So how did we do it? …a multiple platform live stream from the SpaceX launch site in Florida with the man, Elon Musk, himself and XPRIZE executive chairman, Peter Diamandis. The pair met for a fireside chat, enhanced by an open Q&A in Twitter Spaces with the team behind the most audacious competition.
And yes, it was also a first, as we became one of the first brands to use Twitter Spaces. Nice.
